C&C California wants you to Plunge More

November 27, 2007 by Designer Ella

Flush Less Often TankWell, t-shirt designers at this company, in partnership with the authors of The Green Book, have made a tank top that reads, “Flush Less. For many of us, for various reasons (for instance my apartment has poor plumbing), that simply means they want us to clog our toilets more. Sorry, but plumbing quality differs, some people have tricky excrements, etc. etc.

Sure, they have a point here when they explain better, and leave out the broad, general dictation:

Flush one [fewer] time per day and you’ll save about 4.5 gallons of water - as much water as the average person in Africa uses for a whole day of drinking, cooking, bathing, and cleaning.

But in reality, nothing is black and white, even green. I mean sure, one fewer flush a day sounds fine, but it might mean one more plunge a day, now okay but—can somebody tell me how to best clean that darn plunger? Eck!

Yellow text = I think they mean when you pee!

Designer Ella Says:

Ha ha.

They might want us to be dirty, too. Sometimes I need two flushes with pee at my apartment. I try to be very clean!!

Designer Ella Says:

But usually peeing means one flush, so do they want us to leave it sitting in the toilet for a while? Like I said, DIRTY.

Summer Says:

You poor thing - you must get a mere trickle from your showerhead! Referring to water pressure, no pun intended!

Designer Ella Says:

Showerhead’s fine. Heh. Actually, I bought a massager only because the head’s loose (side spray). Why not just get the best? :-) (It’s not installed yet though.)

Designer Ella Says:

Although I don’t seem to get extremely hot water.

Fashion A La Mode Says:

It’s nice to see more fashion do-gooders out there in the world. I want to see more of that! I love C&C. I actually have a dress by them that is gorgeous. I was surprised to see such a unique sun dress from a T-shirt company. I just wish the brand wasn’t so expensive. They are a bit pricey in my opinion.
