Comment Game - What’s Trendy this Fall?

I’m out of touch. It’s been a struggle blogging and working through the on and off heat waves, having no boss, doing other work, with that site outage, etc. etc. And with my interest in indie and less blogging, I’m not even up to date on the trends.

It’s impossible to research and post with current information and style in one short night (especially as the cookies are calling me, the chocolate chips have my name spelled out) so I propose we play a little game.

Type a list of fashion and accessory trends for Fall and hot topics; celebrities, companies, anything. You can even start a thread at your favorite forum and link to that back here.

At the end of the week, I’ll make up a visual presentation or a few, and hopefully we’ll all have a little more information.

However you choose to use it though is up to you. Read at your own risk and trend responsibly!

I often find that I too am out of touch with fashion although I consider myself quite fashionable, if that makes any sense. I generally wear a lot of Pirelli and Versace though I do occasionally buy a pair of Prada ladies shoes that I like to wear when I go out to some place fancy. Outside of the high end fashion world I tend to be kind of lost when it comes to fashion and what not.

One of my best friends like to shop at discount stores for her clothes. I have nothing against that but I think she’s crazy. She’ll buy a ten dollar pair of shoes and love it. What’s scary though is she still ends up looking better than I do when we go out. That’s probably because she’s much more creative than I am. I may try to sneak in some Prada Accessories for her birthday which is coming up. I hope she’ll wear them!

We just returned from the Fashion Trade Shows in Las Vegas.
We saw some great colors for the fall/winter 2007. The hot colors for fall include bright purple, colbalt blue, red, yellow, fuschia, shades of gray and metallics. So nice to see such bright colors for the fall!

We also saw lots of plaids, graphic prints and jeweled embellishments on dresses. Dresses continue to remain a fashion must have for fall 2007!
