Gap CEO Paul Pressler Fired
February 1, 2007 by Designer EllaCEO of Gap, Inc., Paul Pressler, was fired after several seasons of poor sales, even though stock was up, apparently (I don’t know, for I know someone who’s stock dropped to $7 [and the fee to sell was higher]!).
What are your thoughts? Why did this happen? Is Gap looking to make huge changes?
I’m wondering, is Old Navy’s marketing guy/girl going to get the sack for their TV spots?
