Wow, Marc Jacobs Runway Compared to eLUX

I posted Marc Jacobs’ freaky footwear for Fall 2006 last February, and despite some criticism, I loved the socks with pumps idea.
We now see those pumps, yet not modeled with socks, on eLUXURY. Can the pump/sock thing still happen? Well it hasn’t like I hoped—or not at all in fact.
But the big “upsetment” is that one look I thought was a pump/sock combo is actually a boot made to look like that .. look. It’s a “slouch” boot with clearly separated portions made to look like a Mary Jane shoe.
Freakish? Cute? Well, it’s just sad because I remember saying I would buy those slouchy socks, perhaps, if not too drastically priced. These boots. I would not wear.
There goes my first Marc Jacobs clothing purchase. Bye bye.
