Catherine Malandrino Cotton Skirt
May 10, 2006 by Mallory Road
As much as I love handbags (check out Pursed Lips), I also really love skirts—yes, I can love them both! But, I don’t get to wear them as much as I’d like because I work in an office building that’s always freezing, so it’s usually warmer to just wear pants. I try to take advantage of wearing skirts to events outside of work.
Even though I don’t purchase as many skirts as I’d like to, that doesn’t stop me from admiring lots and lots and lots of them, such as this honeycomb skirt by Catherine Malandrino. It has a white cotton overlay with a solid lime underskirt, although it looks yellow to me. Yellow and white always look nice together, plus it has a really great length. I don’t go any longer than just below the knee in skirts, considering I’m 5′ 3″. Pair this with a crisp white top and you’ll have a very chic spring or summer outfit.
