Piperlime is the newest store from Gap Inc. It’s a store for only shoes, only online.
Yep. Gap Inc. likes the power of owning big fashion chains. Naturally, they had to start an online shoe shop after viewing the success of Zappos.com. Will Piperlime make it?
Currently they have over a hundred top shoe brands. Excuse me, I mean to say only over a hundred. That doesn’t sound good enough to compete, but the selection is fine, and they’ll be adding new brands and designers every week. Let’s check out the inventory …
Positive: the only online shop to carry Liz Claiborne Flex. (Heavenly)
Negative: Not many designers and no Nine West?
