JUst glad your back, missed reading your blog! I do like the trend but prefer leggins with black mini dress and either pumps or heels, I cant get away with black vs denim in that way! What you wear on top?

Just wear tights (not footless) instead. They are much more flattering and chic.

I’m with Emily. Leggings are something I wish had never come back, and reminds me horrifyingly of the theatre choreagrapher back in high school. What’s wrong with opaque tights? Unlike leggings, they’re actually wearable for a wider variety of women.

i have been sucked into this trend also. well, into buying. still haven’t worn. i think cuz i have no mini skirt. i think the opaque tights do work better for cooler weather though.

Listen, I am chubby, and I can wear leggings with a mini skirt! I couldn’t believe it, but I wanted to try. And gosh-darnit, I feel sexy in them!!! (And the mirror did not prove otherwise, actually!)

Thanks for all of your opinions. They all have value with me. I just like this … maybe because it actually can work on me, surprisingly, unlike skinny jeans (those things make me go work out when I see them!).

I like tights, too.

Kelly, I actually love chic little flats. On top … well actually on bottom I have black, grey and pale blue (good for denim). I love brown bags, so I haven’t worn the black yet. On top, dark blue, grey, black or some really young-looking bold sweater, like with no shoulders (but not in an 80s way, more of a flap-down shoulder, I don’t know how to say it). Or even in an 80s way, sort of like Cameron Diaz with a tank underneath.

Robyn, I think the leggings might work with a pencil denim (or other) skirt, too. Mine might not fit at the moment, ha ha.

I think depending on the length of the leggings, leggings might be better for cold weather, since they’re thicker, I think. Jockey makes thermal ones I need to blog about!

i think leggins are awesome but deffinetly you can were them in all ocassions. one of the chics trend of leggins are wearing them whit mini dresses they look really nice and flirty.TRY IT SOME DAY!!!
