MTV’s The Hills

I just by chance caught this television program on MTV, The Hills. It’s a show filled with fashion, youth, and fun, but also hard work and lessons in reality. It is actually a reality show and a spinoff of Laguna Beach (but better) with genuine people (and almost hard to believe glamorous and fashion business opportunities until they slap in the face with the truth) but it flows like a medium between The Real World and a drama series.

MTV The Hills Cast

The girls (one of them Lauren ["LC"] from Laguna Beach) are largely shallow, and the show has its shallow parts, as it is by MTV, but it also has very deep aspects. The girls go through man troubles, which is half-half, they go through friendship struggles while the relationship remains in tact, and they face how hard the workforce is, while juggling college work, as well. There’s even a lesson on why not to drop out of school (when given a “dream” job, which can be tempting), but it’s not at all preachy.

I’m so glad that MTV has such lessons, because it is a huge vehicle to reach the young audience. The show has what kids want, but also some things they need.

Plus, if nothing else, you can check out some LV bags, designer fashion shows and cute outfits!

I’m pretty sure it’s the 25, because the larger number probably indicates a larger bag. :)

I’m trying to find the boots that Heidi was wearing the episode that she went for her interview. She is standing outside and talking to Lauren on the phone and lauren hangs up on her. They are tall boots that are meant to go over denim and I NEEED THEM :) If anyone knows what I’m talking about please let me know

I THINK the purse that Heidi was carrying in the drugstore is Moni Moni by Cinzia Moniaci - adasa.com carries this brand. :-)

both the bags she carried with spencer and in the mustard is by linea pelle called the DYLAN bag.

the black bag with the gold chain is the CHANEL GRAND SHOPPING TOTE.

Hey leslie…the jeans that both Audrina and Heidi are wearing are Frankie B. I’ve also seen Lauren wear them in a couple episodes. I love Frankie b jeans! I have a bunch of pairs and they always make your but look so cute! lol :) hope that helps!

Gina: The purse Lauren is carrying in the opening scene is by Juicy Couture and its the “Bianca purse” I have been trying to find it and have not had any luck!! If you can find it, let me know! Als, does anyone know the brand of Lauren’s gold purse? i guess she carries it in Season 2, but she also carried it on Season 2 of Laguna Beach on her first date with Jason! PLEASE HELP ME! The silver dress from the New Years episode is Marciano. It retailed for around $600, but went on sale all the way down to $150 right before Christmas. I think the only chance you will have of finding this dress is if you’re lucky on Ebay. Its beautiful, but extremely heavy (the material is very weighty). Hope this helps!
