A Dress for Graduation

My week of guest posting is almost over and I will soon be back at my regular spot at Pursed Lips, but before I’m finished, I thought I’d post about graduation attire. That annual event is fast approaching for many seniors in high school and collegiates and it got me to thinking about the dress I wore for my high school graduation not too many years ago. It was a simple sheath dress made of a blue/white floral print—it wasn’t that bad, but the more I think about it, the more I know I would choose something completely different if I were graduating today.
I might choose something like this Temperly dress, a soft, neutral knee-length dress with a v-neck and ruffles along the hem—classy and pretty. I know the dress is hidden underneath that hot, uncomfortable graduation gown, but I believe you still need a nice outfit for such a memorable and life-changing event. You’ll know you look great underneath the gown as you stride across the stage to accept your diploma and what a difference that will make!
