Nanette Lepore Floral Dress

March 22, 2006 by Mallory Road

Nanette Lepore Silk Dress
Ella asked me to guest post this week and I am more than happy to oblige. As much as I love posting about handbags over at Pursed Lips, I also love clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup—you get the picture.

This week came the official arrival of spring—the spring equinox anyway, even if spring weather didn’t make it in some places. Regardless of the temperature, it doesn’t stop me from dreaming about gorgeous spring dresses, especially ones that would make perfect Easter attire. Even though I’m 20-something, I still have the need to get a brand-new outfit like I did when I was a little girl every Easter.

Since the holiday is only a few weeks away, I really need to start considering my options. This floral dress would be perfect! Yes, I adore clothing by Nanette Lepore, but besides that, the colors on this silk dress are beautiful, it has a belted waist, full skirt and cute short sleeves.

That dress is adorable! I love it!

I’ve seen a lot of great spring dresses that would be perfect for Easter. I too have the “need” for an Easter (spring) dress… It’s hard to grow out of even if you aren’t planning on going for an easter egg hunt in the dress!

I know, there’s just too many pretty spring dresses to pick from!

The great thing about buying a girly Easter dress is that you then have something pretty to wear to all the other spring and summer social events. I hate seeing wedding guests stuck in the black rut!

I love the dress, but is anyone making a floral dress that covers more leg? I would pay anything for the Lapore dress, but four or six inches longer. I love the floral, fifties look. thanks.

Designer Ella Says:

Who’s not hunting eggs? 0:-)

Gail, sorry, I prefer the fifties flair to “proper lady” length. I wouldn’t have a suggestion.
