A Single Valentine’s To-Do List
February 14, 2006 by Designer Ella- Get up. Get dressed. Breathe.
- Don’t Think.
- Put the chocolate down.
- Call your best friend (but not if he or she is on a date!).
- Don’t sit at home, go out.
- Don’t do homework/stay late at the office. Have a good time.
- Avoid slipping into pajamas and watching depressing things on the t-v. Go out.
- Get your friends together and go out, but not to a restaurant, a club/bar, a movie, etc. You might get sad and/or desperate. Why not go shopping?
- Don’t overspend your budget during your retail therapy. Also, don’t beat yourself up over things you can’t afford or fit into. … Yeah, maybe shopping wasn’t a good idea.
- Hmm … there’s not much in Valentine’s Day for the Have Nots, is there?
Well, in earnest. I have a plan each Valentine’s Day. Get single-gal friends together, and have a movie (of your choice genre) film festivale fantastico!
The problem with me, personally, is I tend to have guy / long distance / attached friends.
Les sighs grand!
I’ll work something out. ![]()
