February 2, 2006 by Designer EllaFashionista Jill poked out of her condo this morning in sheer black hose, thigh-high boots, and a winter white wool coat. And she felt the chill, and saw no sun.
It’s 6 more weeks of:
– Wearing out those fabulous boots, darn, I would hope for them to last another year.
– Witnessing Uggs and other monstrosities.
– Winter white! Before … white completely takes over for Spring!
But it’s also 6 more weeks of:
– Solid diet and exercise time, we’ll be that much thinner for swimsuit season! (Too bad we can’t hibernate and burn all our fat by sleeping.)
– Shopping around for the right shoes, and waiting to happen upon Mr. Dream Bag Spring 06.
– Shopping. We get to be more prepared.
Unfortunately, it’s 6 more weeks until:
– Getting to wear those strappies, peep-toed flats, and wedges, especially espadrilles.
– Getting real use out of resort collections–that silly excuse for a mid-season line.
– Your Spring trench coat.
– Vacation: rest, relaxation, and our time to sleep!
