Stars Show Upcoming Trends at Golden Globes
January 17, 2006 by Designer EllaSome stars showed off Spring 2006 trends in this January’s Golden Globe Awards.

Gwyneth Paltrow (the momma with a beautiful name, giving crazy ones to her own babies) in a babydoll dress by Balenciaga. Unfortunately, the dress had too much of a Victorian flair, while also a trend, Gwyny looked a bit like she was back in Emma.

In more frills and lace, in shoulder-to-toe black Dior, is Charlize Theron. It was over done, and should have been in a longer number, blame John Galliano.

Penelope Cruz is beautiful, but in an overdone upcoming trend of Springy muted neutral, this time in pale, natural pink is too close to her skin tone. Be careful with this trend!
Trends for the night were black, white, and simple but stunning floor-length red.
