January 9, 2006 by Designer EllaPart of our belated Birthday celebration, and the new year, here is a list of my favorite accomplishments in our very first year.
January 2005 - Voted most likely to succeed by Manolo from his ShoeBlog.
Kiss Me, Stace. The Manolo has voted the Designer Ella the girl most likely to succeed with the shoe blogging. She works hard at finding the shoes and the blogging.
January 2005 - By the end of our first month, Kiss Me, Stace received 1,000 visits (not hits).
April 2005 - Pursed Lips was our first network branch-off blog.
September 2005 - Kiss Me, Stace mentioned in the New York Times Styles.
With names like Fashionologie, Kiss Me, Stace, Shoewawa and Now Smell This, the more popular fashion blogs are compelling enough that “to ignore them is to run the risk of seeming out of touch.”
Here’s to an even better new year!
