Shoes.com Starts a Shoe Newsletter

Shoes.com is starting up a newsletter all about shoes and fashion, called “The Shoebox.” Issues will be monthly installments of “what’s new and hot in the world of fashion, entertainment and shoe.”

In the preview, they featured a little note about the Academy Awards this year (navy
and yellow
shoes). A bit pointless and … besides the actual point. Oscar shoes are about designers, style and looks, not two colors that are generally ugly for shoes. Don’t get me wrong, the colors can be pretty in shoes, but one must choose carefully. Simply telling the public that the stars wear yellow and navy shoes could lead to finding this
.
The newsletter pre-installment also featured trends for spring - obvious ones, no news. Espadrille Wedges and beaded Moroccans.
Then they went on to cover all the bases and market interests to say that sneakers are “the way to go” and that boat shoes are, like, sooo cool.
