April 9, 2005 at 3:15 pm by Designer Ella

Manolo Blahnik design drawing for Andy Warhol Museum I recieved this in an e-mail, so I’m posting it. :-) Unfortunately, I’m a slacker with that address, so this is just a little bit late. I won’t let that happen again, because I’ve gotten a few great e-mails. If you want me to post something, send it over!

(Pittsburgh, PA)…March 28, 2005…The Andy Warhol Museum today announced that it has secured commitments from leading designers to sketch shoes in honor of its tenth anniversary. Inspired by the works of Andy Warhol and created solely for the Museum’s April 9, 2005 Spike-a-delic gala fundraiser, the exclusive, signed drawings will be auctioned online via Ebay.com beginning April 1, 2005.

(seller name: theandywarholmuseum) All proceeds will benefit The Warhol’s educational exhibitions and programs fund.

Participating designers, artists and celebrities include:

Shoes.com Saturday Sale!

April 9, 2005 at 10:13 am by Designer Ella

Buy Women's Shoes at Shoes.com
Shoes.com is having it’s frequent 1-day Sale. The sale is not all that expansive, not to me, the dress shoe shopper, anyway. They don’t even offer product pictures to display with their commission site for any of the designers/brands I searched for. (I can’t even do a post with Shoes.com Spring Sandals. :-() That being said, if you find a shoe on sale, the website is decent to buy from.
