It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

December 1, 2005 by Designer Ella

I noted a month ago that now is the scariest time of the year for shopaholics and material girls. Well, I was wrong!

I get to use my expertise to carefully select presents that will place smiles on the faces of those I love. I get the warmth in my heart from the whole process. Plus, I get to shop, shop, shop without the guilt of feeling shallow. And while I do worry about spending over my means, which is the hardest part of these months … well … I can still shop for myself!

Yes, I shop online and when packages come, everyone in the house just thinks they’re goodies for them! And that just might be the best part, my friends!

Hee hee hee! I’m so sneaky!

And just thank the holiday spirits that we get Christmas bonuses! Phew!

Ella!

I am so sorry to see that you are not doing The Spotlight anymore!! But I understand how things can get so hectic. I drop by your site all the time, to see how things are. I am actually doing a Website project for one of my classes…. Do you mind if I list your site as a link to check out??? You’ll get some traffic from Fashion people… My website is about Celebrity Hairstyles. Hope all is well!!!

I agree about the shopping online part. While lugging home hundreds of shopping bags is charming in its own way (and I use the word “charming” loosely here), shopping online means coming home from work to find a package on your doorstep. And considering how much I order online, I never know exactly which item arrived, which I find exciting! Anyway, just wanted to give you and your readers a heads up on finding gift ideas. I’ve put together a mini gift guide with ideas for men, women and children. Check it out at:

Happy shopping!
