Nicole Miller: Through Thin & Thick
September 13, 2005 by Designer EllaNew York Fashion Week Spring 2006 Nicole Miller - September 8 2005
One word: “Slimming”

The lines on the patchwork material create the correct eye-flow to narrow and elongate a woman’s body. The wearer looks slim, yet her hips are still accentuated in a beautiful way.
One word: “Bloat”

The colors are delectable and the belted cropped cardigan is superbly cut, actually. The model has a narrow (empire) waist. Then we get to the hips and beyond. Oh, it’s beyond, alright. Yep, just “BLOAT.”
I don’t understand why these skirts have been a trend for a year on the runway? Thank good sense that it hasn’t reached the buying public’s designs.
