I’m so Fabulous, it Pisses Me Off

One thing stands out and truly bugs me about all the fashion run-way pictures this year. The smile-free expressions on the models. It’s more than pouty, it’s angry.

Give me a break! This is ridiculous, it actually, SERIOUSLY, makes these girls look UGLY.

I had to say something. Fashion Week started yesterday, and I actually went about to try to scope out some styles. Instead, I was reminded and horrified by faces like this:

At least we real girls know that we simply cannot look pretty or attractive to other human beings without our shining smiles. Right? We also are given this opportunity to look better than those skinny b–models. Right? It’s a good thing? Actually, I’m afraid that people will think THIS is what’s in and/or it will catch on and/or men will LIKE it. Or some stupid mind-trick thing. It has to stop!

Fight the power, don teeth-whitening lip stick and smile at those boys, smile to yourself, laugh with your friends. Remember, if you smile, you’ll FEEL happier. Let those models go on Prozac, YOU can be happy naturally.

Ella, seeing I’m spending all my spare time blogging for political reasons, I normally skip sites like yours as soon as BlogClicker allows me.

However, the ridiculous photo combined with my attention getting caught with your writing led me to see the post through, and I though I’d give my 2 cents.

And to reassure you about *you real girls having to smile*, don’t be fooled by this crap:

I’m just an average & ordinary French male, and I find a *plain* girl with a big happy smile on her face 100 times more attractive and sexy than one of those *bitches from hell* looking like her outfit just gave her the wedgie of her life.

It is true that the models don’t really look attractive with those angry looks, but not all the shows have models in angry looks. Some looks are more of the pouty and innocent look. Besides, its good that we don’t look at the face so often- we are supposed to look at the clothes anyways. cheers.

It’s actually quite distracting from the clothes, for me. Pouty, maybe, but still ugly. Innocent, I don’t find it so, it’s all depressed and angry in my eyes.
