I really wanted a red pea coat that was fashionable and flattering. I actually found one at Filene’s on sale over $100 off, for $70.

Filenes.com doesn’t sell coats (or shoes! gasp!), and I only found a similar coat at Overstock.com (Save up to 80%!), also by Anne Klien. I only found the coat on that site by searching, not browsing, and it is a little bit more expensive. I would go to Filene’s if there is one near you.

My coat’s differences:

Mine has a hood (I really like the hood). When the collar is down, it has a little bit lower of a V (less warm, I suppose, but looks nice with a scarf tucked inside). The pockets are lower. There is no crease on the back-bottom (I think it looks better without).

I love my coat!!! It is perfect and so flattering. It is all I hoped, but better because of the price.

I had a great shopping trip. I tried on the two pairs of shoes below this. That was partly disappointing. I almost didn’t buy a thing, which made me proud. In the end my family bought this for me, as a Valentine’s present! I’ll have SOMETHING to keep my heart warm.
