The Most Comfortable Shoes: Fitzwell

December 22, 2004 by Designer Ella

We found my shoes this evening outside! Sneaky, late-delivering UPS! Poor UPS in the Holiday Season! UPS PROPS!

Fitzwell - Delaine (Black) - All Women's Sale Items

The Fitzwell Delaine (black). Slip-on Mary Jane clog. Black, dark brown, tan and dark navy.

This. shoe. is. so. comfortable! It is the most comfortable shoe, aside from maybe a couple of pairs of sneakers (delia’s and puma! [I want the brown anjan]).

See, it is padded like this:

Fitzwell Dalaine inside!

This shoe is like giving your foot a bed to climb into! The sole is more comfortable than slippers!

After a while of wearing and walking, the uppers start to feel not-as-comfortable, like any shoe (as opposed to sneaker). Maybe it’s just my feet. It’s still well worth it, and I may even try to wear these in Disney World! Because it is the sole of the foot that kills me, with all of the standing. Agh!

Another note, the backlessness of the shoe is not a bad thing. It does not want to slip off. It adds extra comfort; no worrying about a heel rising from the shoe.

Here is the Fitzwell Aziza:

Fitzwell - Aziza (Dark Brown) - All Women's Sale Items

I chose dark brown, because

a) I chose the black in the Delaine, because those looked more stylish, and so does black.

b) I had wanted a school shoe this fall (did not find one at the stupid mall, stupid me for looking at the stupid mall), and I liked brown a lot at that point.

I also REALLY like the tan for this shoe. But I thought that the dark brown was a nice inbetween of tan and black. :-)

Anyway, this shoe is just the same.. buutt… The heel, for me, is too far back, so my heel rises up.

I figured out on my shoe-expert own that if Fitzwell had made the strap in a buckle-close, instead of an elastic-stretch, my foot could stay in and be more comfortable. But he didn’t. I should make shoes! The strap is comfy, though. I’m hoping heel-pads will help. (I am all out.)

The slightly different style doesn’t QUITE look as nice as the other, they are both so plain, but this one seems more boxy, because it is all closed off. But I need a fall shoe. And what about the rain?

So, there you go. You MUST own one of these shoes! (Err, a pair :-P)

Dooney & Bourke .. Deal?

December 21, 2004 by Designer Ella

Dooney & Bourke $45. Wristlet

Dooney & Bourke wristlet for $45. I think it’s a good deal (inexpensive [I added that word for the search engines]), although it is a small bag. Please look at the picture for the sizing:

Note size of Dooney Wristlet

My mom wanted a Dooney & Bourke bag. I don’t know why. To me, they are teen-age-ery. They are cute, but cutesy, and far too expensive. Still, she asked me to get her one for Christmas. “The Lindsay Lohan bag.” Lol.. she’s [won't give age.]

None-the-less, when I found this last night, I scooped it up, even though I had no money at all, more like in the negative amount of it. But, I had to, of course!

And if you want to, it is now too late for STANDARD shipping and Christmas delivery. And their two-day shipping is mucho expensive. But oh, well.

So, then this afternoon, after my mom got home and I was heading out. I saw. A Dooney. &. Bourke. Bag. One so similar, black like the one I chose, with cute crayon hearts. Agh!

So I spilled about what I got. In case she wanted me to return it.

“45 dollars?!!!” She screeched. I thought she was yelling at me. Nope! She thought it was great. I kept on and on spilling further details, and THEN she yelled at me. She does want to keep the bag. One surprise left…

The website told me that it would arrive (or be shipped, I’m unsure) Jan. 4th. But the list page says it can be delivered for Christmas.. and.. I told her it wouldn’t come until January. She yelled at me, as if that were Christmas surprise, too.. But now she will have a lovely Christmas surprise of an on-time present!

Such wonderful Gifts to be had at the Designer house!

(I hope I get that digitcal camera.)

Oh, and about that debt. I put in all of my Birthday cash and checks into the Citizen’s ATM. I had the most mortifying ATM experience. I forgot how to use it. I. am. mentally. challenged. But I’m now in the positives!

Nordstrom Pump ie: this Mauve Herringbone!

December 20, 2004 by Designer Ella

Mauve Herringbone Pump from Nordstrom

(Haven’t worn to rate)

“Make it Count” by Unlisted. Comes in black, espresso (dark grey), and mauve (shown) herringbone, with patent leather toe/heel/strap (I think heel?) Or black or red leather, with little holes on the sides. Mary Jane style strap. All look great, except for red (kinda “blegh” to me. Kinda hooker-ish with the hoes/red combo).

2 1/4″ heel (fair height).

The description says that it is comfortable enough to dance in!

I would like to have this shoe. If I were comfortable in heels yet, had money.. etc.. Also, I have much pink, but not everything is pink to go along with this shoe. I think, perhaps, I will see about this shoe in the future.

Layout Woes

December 20, 2004 by Designer Ella

I just tried to put up a new, modified-by-me, template. It didn’t work. The basic layout stayed the same, and the images didn’t show. I don’t understand it, it should work by just using the CSS file. I have to go to the bank now, so I can’t play. I reverted back to this, because I actually have visitors who would see, and DID see, that mess. Bugh.

I thought a simple layout would be nice, but I already wanted to move on to more. Bah. I don’t know if I can. I’ll try more later.

And I have products to blog about. :-) Good stuff.
