Kiss Me, Stace is a fashion, accessories and shopping blog, with numerous topics that expand and/or change all the time. It started in December of 2004 as a shoe blog with reviews and “preety” pics. It has grown and changed immeasurably as time has passed. The blog is eclectic and changes with seasons like trends. I once followed fashion rules, now I believe in the individual. It’s largely maintained itself as a product promotion blog, but I only gush about fantabulous pertiness I believe in. It’s fun, and most of the time; light-hearted, while mixed in are serious articles ranting against the industry. But it’s not ditzy, I like to think that some of my articles feature top blog writing, even the reviews have clever puns, sometimes!

The site’s name is an homage to a television series here in America (there’s also a British version) that pushed my love of fashion over the edge to an obsession. TLC’s “What Not to Wear” features Stacy London and Clinton Kelly. Naturally, I chose the female to honour. The name sounds a bit quirky, and most won’t get the joke, but at least it will sound smooth and familiar to the ear, as a pun on “Kiss Me, Kate” (the musical [based on a Shakespeare play!]) (A pun relating to great writing, I love it. All great writers pun, didn’tcha know? Just look at our other icon, Sarah Jessica Parker and her character, Carrie. Oh, I HAD to fit her in, here, somehow!)
